Perfect Your Smile With Cosmetic Dentistry
Get Your Smile Looking Its Very Best With These Cosmetic Dentistry Procedures
Cosmetic dentistry is made up of procedures that enhance your smile, help to improve your appearance, and boost your self confidence. Whitening, reshaping and straightening of your teeth are examples of cosmetic dentistry. The main difference between traditional dentistry and cosmetic dentistry is the former addresses issues necessary to treat the overall health and functionality of your mouth, whereas, cosmetic dentistry consists of procedures that aren’t necessary, but are desired.
Our dentists, Dr. Sean Mohtashami and Dr. Klein, have over 30 years of combined experience. With a skilled and artistic eye, they’ll take a comprehensive look into the health of your gums and the underlying bone. The shape of your lips, your bite, your teeth, the shape of your face and even personality will all be taken into consideration when designing your smile.
It’s clear, All Bright Dental, is the only practice for your cosmetic dental needs. The list of elective procedures we offer is extensive, so no matter what you want our Las Vegas team can do it and send you back out into the world with a radiant smile.

Combining multiple cosmetic dentistry procedures to achieve your ideal smile is known as a smile makeover. During your consultation with Dr. Sean Mohtashami or Dr. Klein, you’ll discuss your ideal smile and together agree upon a treatment plan that’s right for you.
An example of a smile makeover could be having excess gum removed in order to lengthen the appearance of your teeth, brightening your smile with Zoom! whitening and adjusting their alignment with an Invisalign treatment. For bigger issues, Dr. Sean or Dr. Klein may suggest dental implants be part of the treatment plan.
There’s no need to wait, All Bright Dental has the solution for all your dental concerns. Call to schedule a consultation and get started on your forever smile.
There are a number of reasons for unhealthy looking teeth: a lifetime of poor hygiene, an illness, gum disease, a genetic predisposition, even certain medicines can cause weakened or discolored teeth. Porcelain veneers, also called dental veneers, are a cosmetic dental procedure, which, consists of thin porcelain ‘shells’ that are permanently bonded to the fronts of your teeth. With this one procedure you can whiten your teeth, fix chips and cracks, close large gaps, and make teeth appear straighter, and protect yourself from sensitivity due to worn enamel.
A benefit in opting for veneers compared to dental crowns is that very little – if any – tooth is lost to prepare it for a veneer. With a dental crown, a tooth is filed way down so the crown, or cap, can be placed over it. To prepare a tooth for a veneer you and your dentist will first decide upon whether a local anesthetic for numbing is necessary. Approximately a 1/2 millimeter of enamel is removed from the surface of your tooth, which ends up being about the thickness of the veneer. Keep in mind that your veneers might not perfectly match the color of your other teeth and once they’re on, they cannot be replaced. Remember to whiten your teeth prior to getting your veneers if that’s something you’re thinking of doing.
It takes about 3 visits to complete your veneer procedure. The first visit consists of your consultation, exam and x-ray. At this visit you and your doctor will discuss if veneers are the best option for you and come up with a treatment plan. The second visit will be to prep your teeth, take impressions, and decide on the ideal shape and color of your veneers. Your third visit is when your veneers are bonded to your teeth. With proper care and oral hygiene, veneers can last 7 – 15 years before needing to be replaced.
Brightening Smiles with Zoom! Teeth Whitening
It only takes Zoom whitening an hour to whiten and brighten your smile. Zoom whitening uses an accelerated bleaching process to lighten stains and discoloration on your teeth. Smoking, red wine, certain medications, coffee, and aging can all contribute to dark spots on your teeth. Zoom uses a bleaching mixture that penetrates your tooth’s enamel to bleach from the inside out. With the help of the Zoom Advanced Power Lamp, it activates and accelerates the bleaching process so your teeth can get up to 8 shades whiter in one office visit.
A consultation is necessary, as it is before any dental procedure, to determine if Zoom whitening is the best tooth whitening treatment for you. Depending on your lifestyle, eating, drinking or smoking habits and prior dental work, our doctors, Dr. Sean or Dr. Klein, may suggest an alternative treatment. The in office Zoom procedure consists of three 15 minute, same day, sessions. Prior to starting, you’ll need to have your teeth cleaned. Your lips and gums will be prepped to keep the gel from getting on them and the gel will remain on your teeth for each 15 minute session. During this time, you can read, watch tv and relax. Post procedure you can expect heightened sensitivity so be cautious when eating or drinking things that are very hot or cold. For those of you who prefer the control or a more subtle, gradual change, we offer a Zoom take home kit. We’ll provide you with custom shaped bleaching trays with the same professional strength bleaching gel you would get here in our office. This is a terrific option for patients with extra sensitive teeth.

A dental crown encases, or caps, a chipped or otherwise unhealthy tooth, restoring it’s appearance and function. Whenever possible, you always want to save a natural tooth. A crown makes this possible by protecting the natural tooth within. Only a real tooth has roots and roots are what keep your jawbone healthy and strong. A strong jawbone retains the shape of your face and integrity of the other teeth. Without a root, the bone in your jaw very quickly begins to wear away.
Crowns can also improve the look of your smile. So much emphasis is placed on the teeth that people often forget that the gums play a large part in overall look of a smile too. A smile with too much gum tissue can make the teeth appear short and stubby. Before receiving a dental crown, crown lengthening can be performed. This painless procedure removes excess gum tissue to expose more of your natural tooth. Round this out with a dental crown and you have a beautiful, balanced smile.
Dental crowns can be used in conjuncture with dental bridges and dental implants. The bridge can be secured to an abutment with a crown and in the case of a dental implant, the new tooth on the implant is known as the crown.
